Objective: determining the appropriateness of studying the International Classification of Functioning, Disability and Health by neurologists in the system of continuing medical education. Materials and methods. Questionnaire of 380 neurologists studying in continuing education courses. The standardized questionnaire included characteristics for identifying groups (work experience as a neurologist, category availability, academic degree, place of work) and test questions. A frequency analysis, calculation of the average score, a comparative analysis of percentages and means in the selected groups, a correlation analysis of the experience and awareness of the respondents were performed. Results: 319 (83,9%) of respondents are aware of the classification. The average test score in this group was 3,5± 2.4, and the maximum score (6) scored 108 (33,9%) people. The awareness of persons with academic degree, working in specialized medical organizations participating in scientific research is much higher than among respondents without a scientific degree (t = 5,5), not working in specialized organizations (t = 11.1), not participating in scientific work (t = 9.7).Awareness depends on experience rs = 0.2. Conclusion. Selective awareness of the respondents about the classification indicates the advisability of presenting ICF modules of various informativeness in the system of continuing medical education.
